Thila Dhara (Third Eye Drip)

This is an ancient head treatment. A mixyure of soothing herbal oils are slowly and steadily poured over the head and forehead from a hanging earthern vessel. At the same time headand shoulders are gently massaged.

This treatment relieves insomnia, mental depression, headache, migraine and sinusitis. It improves memory power and is suitable for sunburn treatment.

Abyanga (Oil Massage & Herbal Bath)

This is a fully body massage treatment with a mixture of warm herbal oils (the mixture depends on one's body condition).

After an hour of invigorating massage a hot herbal bath follows. This is a highly useful tratment for encreasing blood ciculation, giving relaxation to the muscles, soothens the nerve system, wasting of muscles, rheumatism, arthritis, gout an to relieve body heat.

Njavarakizhi Dab (Herbal Dab)

Small cotton bags filled with cooked medicinal rice dipped in fresh warm milk with a mixture of ancient Ayurvedic herbs is dabbed and rubbed all over the body. This is very efective for wasting of muscles(athrophy), weakness, rheumatism, arthritis and gout.

Udwarthanam Body Scrub

A traditionally made Ayurvedic body scrub softens and exfoliates dead skin cells leaving lustrous glow to the skin.

A herbal preparation made on grains, milk and oil is made into a paste and massaged into skin. The paste is then removed with a herbal bath. This treatment is an effective detoxifying therapy that tones, purifies and exfoliates the skin.
