Birds from all over the world

Since November the 30th 2002 Langkawi is enriched by a new attraction. The Langkawi Bird Paradise, a bird park for everyone that enjoys the colorful feathered species is located about 10 minutes by car from Kuah or 30 minutes from Pantai Cenang.

On more then 10,000 square meters it offers a home to birds, which is adapted to their natural habitat. As a jungle at the edge of the jungle, the bird park resides at the foot of the Gunung Raya.

Not everybody likes to force himself out of bed in the middle of the night, to take an arduous foot march into the jungle and lie motionless for hours to catch a view of a rare bird ....or not.

If you rather stay in bed, the Langkawi Bird Paradise offers a good alternative.
