Cik Spacendra's Palace

Cik Spacendra's Palace - Alor Setar - Malaysia

Built in 1882, this building is located in Alor Setar. Also known as Istana Kampung Baharu, it was the Palace of Cik Spacendra, the first wife of Sultan Abdul Hanaid Halint Shah (1881-1943).

With such exquisite architecture and ornate finishing, the palace is a popular attraction. It is a romantic tribute by the sultan for his beloved wife.
