The Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial, located at Jalan Dato' Onn, is dedicated to the memory of Malaysia's first Prime Minister, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra AI-Haj, who was also known as Father of Independence.

The Memorial was the official residence of the Tunku during his term of office as the first Chief Minister of Malaya as well as first Prime Minister of Malaysia. The Residence is kept exactly as it was during his lifetime with the original furniture and fittings restored. On both sides of the Residence are two new blocks of buildings.

One block contains a version of the Prime Minister's former office while the other block houses the memorabilia and artefacts of the Tunku Records and documents pertaining to his years as the first Prime Minister are also exhibited.

Opening hours are from 9am to 6pm, Tuesdays to Sundays and public holidays.
