Sekinchan is a little town in the middle of the main rice-bowl area of Selangor, in the Sabak Bernam district.

Visitors are able to see large plots of land cultivated to produce the staple food of Malaysians. This area is also well known for its mechanised farming methods and high yield of rice.

A visit here provides the opportunity to see the sweeping green or gold (depending on the time of year) fields of padi reaching out clear to the horizon.
