Situated only 20km North-West of Kuala Lumpur, Kanching Recreational Forest offers a cool and soothing environment. It is part of the 478 hectares of the Kanching Forest Reserve that was developed into a tourist attraction by the Selangor Forestry Department since 1978.
This recreational forest is an excellent place for picnicking and camping, for the young and adults alike. The more popular spots among picnickers are the second and third levels, where the waterfalls end up in spacious pools and bouldered streams.
At the lower level, the torrents slow down into a calmer river, providing a safer place for children to soak themselves.
Let the beguiling landscape refresh your mind and body. The exquisite lushness is also a sanctuary for birds and monkeys.
